Why do we have the Questions of the Week?

The “Questions of the Week” is a simple, practical and powerful way of giving our parish community the opportunity to reflect and focus on the Sunday gospel.  It is a way of listening to the word of God not only with our ears, but also with our hearts and minds.  We encourage every member of the parish to ponder and reflect on these questions and to discuss them within each household of faith.  Gospel reflection will lead to a deeper understanding of God’s teachings.  A deeper understanding of God’s teachings will lead to a more harmonious relationship within the family and the community and among all peoples of God.
